Anti-Soviet Propaganda in Occupied Ukraine
The German Army sought to exploit, or to create, anti-Russian and anti-Soviet sentiments in occupied Ukraine. Portraying themselves as Ukraine’s liberators from the Soviet yoke, the Germans even succeeded in forming a separate SS Division from Ukrainian soldiers.
