Report on the battle with guerillas in the Ukraine

During the duration of operations to liquidate UPA bands from February 1944 to August 1, 1945 a total of 94,196 bandits were killed and 98,848 were captured. 85,833 bandits and draft evaders gave themselves up.

Forty-one cannon were confiscated, one armored vehicle, 455 mortars, 10 grenade launchers, 20 flame throwers, 284 anti-tank weapons, 5389 machine guns, 9701 automatic rifles, 37,735 rifles, 5157 revolvers and pistols, 52,790 shells and mines, 65,600 grenades, 6,852,301 cartridges, 171 radio transmitters, 243 receivers, 25 printing presses. 1165 supply dumps with weapons and supplies were captured. Red Army and NKVD losses totaled 2181 men, 2605 wounded, and 330 missing in action.
