Description: In this clip, a Stalker ventures into the mysterious zone left behind by unknown and incomprehensible alien civilization, a place of terrific danger where incomprehensible technological wonders can be found. Despite all the unfamiliarity that the science fiction genre could generate, Soviet viewers recognized the sense of alienation felt by the stalker as he ventured into the pseudo-police state, where he and others were forced to create a livable life in a world of senseless rules.
