Campaign Posters for the Constituent Assembly
Campaign posters for elections to the Constituent Assembly in 1918 show the variety of parties competing for seats. The campaign posters for the Constitutional Democrats, or Kadets, a leading party, appeal to a literate and educated audience. Such political materials displayed none of the graphic originality that would distinguish Bolshevik posters in coming years.
