Arrest of Counter-Revolutionary Cadets
Council of People's Commissars, Decree on the Arrest of Leaders of the Civil War Against the Revolution. December 11, 1917

Members of the leading bodies of the Constitutional-Democratic (Cadet) Party, which is a party of enemies of the people, shall be arrested and brought before revolutionary tribunals.
Local Soviets are instructed to exercise special surveillance over the Cadets in view of their association with the Kornilov-Kaledin civil war against the revolution.
This decree enters into effect from the time of signing.
