Nicholas II and the Glorious War

These posters chart the progressive devaluation of Nicholas II from leader of the Great War to parasitic ruler. Early posters display the Tsar, his family, and the European allies. The Bolsheviks, who rode to power on anti-war sentiment, would eventually depict him as the head of a degenerating social order, and enemy of progressive Russia.
